OLIVE-CHEESE BALLS

2 cups grated sharp Cheddar
1/2 cup soft butter
1 cup sifted flour
1/2 tsp. ground thyme
1 tsp. oregano

Mix and wrap around olives. Wrap in plastic and freeze. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes.
From Anna Wagner: "Be sure you bake them while they’Re still frozen — if you don’t, they turn into strange sort of cheese cookies which tend to confuse the guests."
