1 12-ounce package semisweet chocolate chips (2 cups) |
Lightly grease (or use parchment) cookie sheet. In heavy medium saucepan combine 1 cup chocolate chips, unsweetened chocolate and better. Cook and stir over low heat until melted, cool slightly. Meanwhile, stir dry ingredients together and set aside. Add eggs, sugar and vanilla to chocolate mixture. Beat until combined. Add flour mixture, beat until combined. Stir in remaining chocolate and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake 350° for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are firm and surface is dull and cracked. Cool. Drizzle melted chocolate on top. | From Cookies and Candies Notes: I stopped making them this way because theyre too sweet and they cant be packed for gifting. I dont bake them any longer than 6 minutes. Add chopped Andes mints. |
